Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Is A Regal Rhapsody In A Crimson Red Kalidar Kurta Set

There may be umpteen delightful faces in the world, but there’s just one which is a deity cinched to human form–Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Pierced into our thoughts as the ultimate definition of beauty, eloquence, and elegance, the Jodha-Akbar actor has once again commanded our affinity with her poised demeanor.
Minutes, after she posted a picture of hers on Instagram, social media, collapsed noiselessly with #AishwaryaRaiBachchan trending all over Twitter. Now as Cerci Lannister quotes, “Power is Power”, there’s nothing quite like Bachchan holds over her allegiant fans.
In her Kalidar Kurta set, ethereal golden embroidery smiles head-to-toe on a crimson red background. The ornamentation then extends to her sleeves and dupatta’s hem. Breathing life to her regal discourse, the blue-eyed beauty adds temple neck-pieces, earrings, and similar-hued bangles. A metaphor for artifacts, perhaps. In the snap she posted, her countenance appears all dredged up in ancient secrets, like the character she portrays in the film.
These pictures were from a promotional event for her upcoming, multi-starrer movie, Ponniyin Selvan I, which is directed by none other than Mani Ratnam. The movie stars Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, and Sobhita Dhulipala, among others.
One of her co-actors Chiyaan Vikram said, “ I got to work with Aishwarya again after Raavanan. But my only gripe is that in this movie too I don't get her. He further chuckled and said, “When Mani Sir gave me the script, I asked him, is there any chance of that to change to which he replied he was sorry but the writing was already done." We feel you Vikram, we feel you. Maybe, next time.
