Air Pollution: Supreme Court again bans construction work in Delhi-NCR
The top court said that the state should use the money collected as labor cess for the welfare of construction workers to give them relief. Pay the wages notified under the Minimum Wages Act to workers for the period during which construction activities are prohibited.

Keeping in view the deteriorating air quality, the Supreme Court on Wednesday again imposed an interim ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR. Asked the government to plan in advance based on the anticipated levels of air pollution in the near future, instead of waiting for the air quality to deteriorate.Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and headed by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Surya Kant said, "Meanwhile, as an interim measure and till further orders, we re-ban construction activities in NCR."
