Air India plane with 219 students reaches Mumbai
Air India aircraft AI-1943 carrying 219 Indian students stranded there on the third day of Russia's attack on Ukraine landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 8 pm tonight. The plane took off from Bucharest, Romania in the afternoon. A special corridor was built for them at the Mumbai airport.

The students has to show the certificate of Covid-19 vaccination or negative report of RT-PCR. Arrangements were also made for RT-PCR test at the airport itself. On the other hand, another Air India flight from Bucharest, Romania took off for New Delhi at 9.30 pm with 250 students. It will land at New Delhi airport at around 8 am on Sunday. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that this campaign for the return of students under 'Operation Ganga' will continue.
