AIIMS Cyber Attack Case: Information about Chinese hackers sought from Interpol, Delhi Police wrote letter to CBI
Citing Delhi Police sources, it was informed that the IFSO of Delhi Police has written to the CBI seeking information from Interpol about the IP addresses of email IDs from Henan in China and Hong Kong, which were used for the cyber attack. Since CBI is the nodal agency, a letter has been written to it.
In the case of cyber attack on the server of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) located in the national capital Delhi, the Delhi Police has sought information about hackers from China through Interpol. Delhi Police has written a letter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for this. In the letter, the Delhi Police has sought information about the IP address regarding the mail.

After the incident of ransomware attack on AIIMS server, the digital services of the hospital are coming back on track in a phased manner. In this sequence, now the facility of online appointment has been started again for the patients for treatment in OPD. Patients will now be able to take appointments sitting at home. The facility of online appointment was closed after the incident of Ransomware attack on AIIMS server on November 23. After the commencement of the facility, the slots of many departments have been filled. There is a waiting period of 20 days to one and a half months for an appointment.
