Maharashtra faced lots of political uproar after Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant allegedly made remarks about Shaina NC from chief minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction last week.
Shaina noted that the Maharashtra's women were disrespected by Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. She questioned why MVA leaders such as Supriya Sule of NCP (SP) and Priyanka Chaturvedi of Shiv Sena (UBT) were silent.
Sawant later expressed his apology for his remarks and stated to be a victim of defamation.
