After getting Vedanta-Tata project Gujarat, CM Eknath Shinde claims - big investments will come in the state soon
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's remarks have come to the fore in the matter of getting Gujarat first Vedanta-Foxconn and now Tata-Airbus project. He assured that Maharashtra is going to get some big investments in the coming times. "Some big industries in the state will set up their projects in the coming days," Shinde said at an event in Nandurbar.

Maharashtra CM said, "At present there is a discussion going on regarding the status of industries in Maharashtra and the Industries Minister is continuously speaking on this issue. I do not want to say anything on this, but the government is working to generate employment for the youth.

Significantly, Tata and Airbus have announced to move their aircraft manufacturing project to Gujarat. On this, the opposition has targeted the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and accused the Mahavikas Aghadi of foiling the timely efforts. Earlier, Vedanta and Foxconn had also suddenly announced to move their semiconductor unit to be engaged in joint venture from Maharashtra to Gujarat. Even then many opposition leaders including Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar had put the Shinde faction in the dock.
