After Corona, monkeypox scared the world, death toll increased in Spain

According to the ministry, 120 people infected with monkeypox have been admitted to the hospital so far. Health Department officials said that under the European Union's Joint Vaccine Program, the country has received 5,300 doses of the vaccine.

The cases of monkeypox are increasing all over the world. After Corona, monkeypox has emerged as such a disease, people are getting scared after hearing its name. About 80 countries of the world including India are facing this. Another person died of monkeypox in Spain on Saturday. This is the second case of monkeypox death here in the last two days. The Health Ministry said- 'Both those who lost their lives due to the infection were youths.' Spain's Health Ministry said on Friday that- 'So far 4,298 people have been infected with this virus in the country, of which about 3,500 are men who have sex with other men. Only 64 of the infected are women. According to the ministry, 120 people infected with monkeypox have been admitted to the hospital so far. Health Department officials said that under the European Union's Joint Vaccine Program, the country has received 5,300 doses of the vaccine.

The first case of death due to this virus was reported on Friday. The first death from monkeypox was reported in Brazil on Friday. Since May, more than 22,000 cases of monkeypox have been reported in 80 countries around the world. 75 people have died due to this virus in Africa. Most of the patients have lost their lives in Nigeria and Congo. Monkeypox was declared a 'global health emergency' by the World Health Organization (WHO) a week before the death toll outside Africa was reported.

In view of the threat of monkeypox in the country and the world, the Indian government is in alert mode. Taking a lesson from Corona, the government has started preparations for its vaccine in view of the cases of monkeypox in the country. The central government has floated a tender for making monkeypox vaccine. The government has brought Expression of Interest (EOI) to make its vaccine, that is, it has brought a tender. This EOI has come to make a test kit to make and test the monkeypox vaccine.
