Actress Sunny Leone gets relief from Kerala High Court, stay on criminal proceedings filed in cheating case
The actress has denied the allegations leveled against her husband and his employee in the petition. He claimed that he had not been involved in any crime. He said he was pained by the long process of the trial when no material or clear evidence has been found against him. During this, his work has also been affected.

The Kerala High Court on Wednesday gave a big relief to actress Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber, including one other. A case of cheating has been registered against these people including Sunny Leone. The Kerala High Court on Wednesday stayed further proceedings in the breach of contract case lodged by the Crime Branch of the state police against actress Sunny Leone and two others.
Justice Ziyad Rahman AA of the Kerala High Court passed the order on Leoni's plea seeking quashing of the case against her. The High Court has stayed the criminal proceedings till the next date of hearing of the petition.

The crime branch is probing the case registered on the complaint of Ernakulam district program coordinator Shias Kunjumohammed. In his complaint, Kunjumohammed had alleged that Leoni and others had violated the contract despite receiving Rs 39 lakh for performing stage shows in Kerala and abroad.
