Due to this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold a meeting with the Indian Medical Association today to review the situation and preparedness of Corona.
Union Health Minister Mandaviya will discuss the status of COVID-19 with the doctors of IMD through video conferencing. The Minister will also review the health medical preparedness to deal with Corona in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 196 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India. According to the Ministry of Health, active cases have also increased. Active cases have increased marginally to 3,428. The ministry informed that the daily positivity rate has now reached 0.56 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 0.16 per cent. According to the ministry, 35,173 Covid tests have been done to detect Covid in the last 24 hours. The active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections, the ministry said, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has risen to 98.80 per cent.
