The Single Bench of Justice Surendra Singh of Allahabad High Court has allowed the bail plea of Shrikant Tyagi.
The hearing on Shrikant Tyagi's bail application was completed today in the Allahabad High Court. In today's hearing, the UP government had filed its affidavit. Arguments were also presented on behalf of Shrikant Tyagi on the reply of the UP government. The criminal history and gang chart of Shrikant Tyagi was presented in the court by the UP government today. On the other hand, it was argued on behalf of Shrikant Tyagi that he has no criminal history and all the cases registered are motivated by malicious intent.
It is worth mentioning that after the case of misbehaving with a woman in a Noida society, a case was registered against Shrikant Tyagi under the Gangster Act. After which Shrikant Tyagi had filed a bail application in the Allahabad High Court in the gangster case. Tyagi had already got bail from the sessions court in three cases. Shrikant Tyagi is in jail for misbehaving with a woman. Senior advocate GS Chaturvedi and advocates Amrita Rai Mishra and Alok Ranjan Mishra appeared on behalf of Shrikant Tyagi in the High Court.
It is known that a video of Shrikant Tyagi went viral on social media, in which Tyagi was seen abusing a woman. Along with this, he was also accused of assaulting the woman. It is being told that in a housing society located in Sector 93-B, Noida, there was an argument with the woman of Shrikant Tyagi over illegal occupation. In the meantime, Tyagi got down on abusive words. A case was registered after the video went viral. After which he hid, the police placed a reward of 25 thousand rupees on him.
