AAP protests over CBI's interrogation of Manish Sisodia, police detained Sanjay Singh
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia for questioning in connection with the alleged scam in the Excise Policy of the Delhi government.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia for questioning in connection with the alleged scam in the Excise Policy of the Delhi government. Sisodia has reached the CBI headquarters at 11 am on Monday for questioning in the case.
Earlier in the morning he reached Aam Aadmi Party's office from home and reached Rajghat from here. In view of the security arrangements, a large number of police forces have been deployed outside his house. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has expressed the possibility of arresting Manish Sisodia.
Delhi Police has detained hundreds of activists, including AAP leader Sanjay Singh, who were protesting outside the CBI office amid the interrogation of Manish Sisodia. Earlier, Sanjay Singh, Environment Minister Gopal Rai, MLA Ashish Singh, Durgesh Pathak and Kasturba Nagar MLA Madan Lal along with their supporters had reached outside the CBI headquarters to protest. Before being raised from the dharna, Sanjay Singh said that the BJP is attacking Manish Sisodia due to the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections.
On CBI's questioning of Manish Sisodia, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, "Gujarat results will be out on December 8. These people will keep Manish in jail till then. So that Manish does not go for campaigning in Gujarat elections."
