A Sensational double murder case at Bara Hindu Rao worked out

The Joint Teams of Central Zone of Delhi Police has arrested three notorious Criminals and worked out a blind double murder case of Bara Hindu Rao Police Station on Sunday. They arrested three arrested by joint teams of north and north east district of central zone

Delhi police. One weapon of offence, a sophisticated pistol, one country made gun, five live cartridges, two mobile phones and clothes of accused were recovered by the arrestee.

According to Mr. Anto Alphonse, an IPS Deputy Commissioner of Police: north district, Delhi, “In the evening of 08-07-2021, a group of persons reached near DCM Round About, Bara Hindu Rao and started quarrelling with ONE Naeem and Munib, both are the residents of Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi after stopping their car. However, they were overpowered by the victims with the help of passer-by and they managed to go away. But after a few minutes, as per plan, the attackers returned and fired couple of bullets at the victims which resulted in killing of two persons who were not the target in the fight.”

After the incident, statement of complaint was recorded and a case vide FIR No. 191/21 dated 09.07.2021, u/s NORTH DISTRICT 302/307/34 IPC and 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was registered in PS Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi, he informed TNB.

The case was worked out via specific tasking of teams ie. analysis of CCTV, local enquiry, Interrogation of BCs/Ruffians, Interrogation of complainant, Identification of deceased etc. A brief information is as follows.

On initial interrogation, it was revealed that the complainant Mohd. Naeem and his nephew Munib were having rivalry with other builders of Sadar Bazar and Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi. Investigation was initiated from this angle. As reported Munib managed in getting a stay on the construction of a building at Ahata Kidara and caused demolition of the same. Local inputs were gathered and it was revealed that one builder in order to settle the score along with his partner and relative of his partner Mehtab, resident of Farash Khana conspired and have got executed the whole act to eliminate Munib and Naeem. Technical surveillance was mounted, local inputs gathered and sources deployed to nab the builder and his associates.

Further, from the analysis of CCTV footages of the nearby cameras of the place of occurrence, a group of persons were seen attacking the victims. CCTV footage gave the vital clue of attack. During investigation four of the assailants were identified and rigorous efforts were made in that direction. One more accused person namely Mehtab R/o FarashKhana, Delhi have also been arrested in the present case who is one of the main conspirators of the heinous act. On interrogation he has disclosed that he was asked by one of his known relative to approach Munib and Naeem for sorting out the situation. But when Munib was not agreeing, he hatched a conspiracy with the builder and his relative to finish Naeem and Munib.

Further efforts are being made to nab the co-accused persons. Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.
