A museum dedicated to the life of Chandrashekhar Azad will be built in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that a museum dedicated to Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will be built in Badarka, Unnao, so that people can take inspiration from his life. On the occasion of the 117th birth anniversary of freedom hero Chandrashekhar Azad, Pathak, who arrived at the fair to be held at Badarka in Unnao, garlanded his statue on Saturday. Saluting Chandrashekhar Azad, he said, "Immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad had given a message to the whole world by sacrificing his life laughingly to liberate Mother India."

Later Pathak tweeted, “Long live Chandrashekhar Azad. Synonymous with valor and courage, joined the celebrations organized at his holy village Badarka (Unnao) on the occasion of the 117th birth anniversary of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad ji, a leading freedom fighter.
Chandrashekhar Azad was born on 23 July 1906. Badarka was the ancestral village of his father Pandit Sitaram Tiwari. While fighting for freedom, Chandrashekhar Azad killed three British policemen in an encounter in Prayagraj on 27 February 1931 and when he had the last bullet left, he shot himself. Pathak insisted on saving the memories related to the life of Chandrashekhar Azad. Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', he termed it as 'Congress Jodo Yatra'. Pathak said that the Congress is badly broken.
