6G service after 2 years: Telecom Minister said – Engineers started work on this technology, also told the plan of 5G

It has set a target of launching it by the end of 2023 or early 2024 i.e. in 2 years. Necessary permissions have been given to the scientists and engineers working on this technology.
He said that we are moving fast in this direction. We are designing Telecom Software in India which will service Telecom Devices made in India, Telecom Network of India. By the third quarter of next year, an important software for the technology will also be ready. The auction of 5G spectrum is also likely to take place in the second quarter of calendar year 2022.

They have started the consultation process. This process is expected to end somewhere in the February-March time frame in the coming year. Earlier in the year, it had approved a set of nine reforms to address the short-term liquidity needs of telcos as well as the long-term issues.
Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone-Idea have been allotted spectrum for 5G trials in the country. During this time Jio and Airtel have achieved maximum 5G speed of around 1Gbps. On the other hand, Vodafone-Idea has achieved maximum speed of up to 3.5Gbps during the 5G trial.
