556 people from abroad missing in Bengaluru, Meerut, Patna and Chhattisgarh, this negligence can bring third wave

Three patients of Omicron, the new variant of Corona, which became a matter of concern all over the world, have now been found in the country as well. Due to this, experts are saying that due to this, the third wave of corona can spread across the country. This danger has been increased by those people who came to India from the countries of at risk category and now their whereabouts are not known. If these people might have been infected with Omicron, then they can become super spreaders of this new variant, because they have neither been tested for corona nor are they quarantined anywhere. Searched 556 such people in different cities.

In India, two Omicron patients have been found in Bengaluru, Karnataka and one patient in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Suspected patients of Omicron have been found in some other cities. However, this variant has not been confirmed in them yet.

300 people returned from abroad in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 13 went missing by giving wrong addresses and information. News agency ANI reported that 7 of them had returned from South Africa, where the Omicron variant was first found. Now the officials are trying to track down these missing people.

A case has been registered against a woman who returned from South Africa in Chandigarh. He is accused of breaking the quarantine rules after coming to India. The woman had come to India on Wednesday and her report came negative. He was asked to remain in home quarantine for a week, but he broke the isolation to check-in at the hotel before returning home the very next day.

At least 10 passengers have also gone missing from Bengaluru airport. All of them are being told to be South African. Karnataka Revenue Minister R. Ashok has told that airport security, police and health departments are working to track and test them.
