5 BJP workers arrested for throwing slippers at Tamil Nadu minister's car

Police have arrested five Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers for throwing slippers at Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan's car. The incident is from Madurai. Thiagarajan was in Madurai to pay homage to the martyr Rifleman D Lakshmanan, Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir, when a BJP worker threw slippers at his car. A senior police officer said that all the five accused involved in the incident are BJP workers.
He is currently being arrested and the matter is being investigated. After all, on the question of why the accused did this, the police officer said that I cannot tell you much about it right now.
