43 deaths in Delhi in 24 hours, highest since second wave
On Thursday, 43 people died of corona in Delhi. This figure is the highest after the second wave i.e. June 10. Last year on June 10, 44 people had lost their lives in Delhi. However, a decrease of 11% has been registered in the daily cases. On Wednesday, 13,785 cases were reported here and on Thursday the figure stood at 12,306.

On Wednesday, 3.17 lakh new cases have been found in the country. During this, 2.23 lakh people were cured, while 491 people have died. At the same time, an increase of 34,562 has been seen in the new infected compared to the previous day. Earlier on January 18, 2.82 lakh people were found infected.
After 8 months, the number of new infected in the country has crossed 3 lakhs. In the second wave, 3.11 lakh cases were found on 15 May during the decrease in cases. An increase of 91 thousand 519 was registered in the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment. At present, there are 19.24 lakh active cases in the country. For the first time in the country, more than 2 lakh patients (2,23,990) have also been cured.
