Fake call center busted in cyber city, 8 people including operator arrested
The team of Cyber Crime Police Station busted the fake call center operating in Udyog Vihar Phase-I on Friday night. A total of 38 people were arrested from the spot. These also include two operators and two team leaders. One lakh, 70 thousand rupees, 27 laptops and 44 mobiles were recovered from the possession of the accused.

The operator and the team leader have been taken on a five-day remand for questioning. Others were sent to Bhondsi jail in judicial custody. All used to do blackmail and recovery in the name of recovery of loans.
On Friday evening, the Cyber Crime Police got information that a fake call center is being run on the first floor of plot number-26 in Udyog Vihar Phase-I. After this, the team led by Inspector Bijendra Singh, Inspector Omprakash and Inspector Sumer Singh reached the spot. As soon as the information was received, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime) Indivar also reached.As reported, the same activities were going on. Then the laptops and mobiles of all the working employees were checked. It has also come to the fore from the investigation that when people used to pay the loan, even after that, the recovery was done by pressurizing it in the same way.
