36th National Games: National Games launched, PM Modi said – India will join

The 36th National Games are being organized in the country. Its inauguration ceremony was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi arrived to inaugurate this ceremony. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel was also present at the stadium along with Prime Minister Modi. During the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the players and people from different states of the country at the stadium.

Olympians PV Sindhu, Neeraj Chopra and Ravi Kumar were present at the Dahiya stadium during the opening ceremony. Let us inform that apart from Prime Minister Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur was also present in the ceremony. It is worth noting that the National Games are being organized in the country after seven years.

During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Sports paves the way for other sectors as well. At this time players are getting many facilities. Enjoy Navratri with Khiladi game. Players from India are participating in 40 sports. PM Modi said that today Khelo India is a mass movement. Daughters are also making their name bright in sports. Game development is a medium of journey.

PM Modi further said, 'The platform of the National Games will act as a new launching pad for the youth. The victory of the players makes the identity of the country and the image of the country better manifold. PM Modi said that till eight years ago, players of India used to participate in less than a hundred international events but now they are participating in more than 300 events.
