34 Ukrainian civilians killed in 24 hours

The Russian-Ukraine War reached its eighth day on Thursday, March 3. A day after gaining control of the first major Ukrainian city in the form of Kherson, Russian forces laid siege to urban areas across the country on Thursday and continued attacks. On one hand, while representatives of both the warring countries reached Belarus for the second round of talks, on the other hand the round of sharp accusations and counter-accusations continued.

On Thursday, representatives of Russia and Ukraine arrived in Belarus for the second round of talks. Ukraine's presidential adviser, Mykhailo Podolik, confirmed the news that he and other officials have begun talks with Russian representatives in Belarus.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin "the only way to stop this war". Speaking at a press conference, the Ukrainian President while addressing Putin said that “We are not attacking Russia and we have no plans to attack it.
