3.37 lakh new cases were found in the last 24 hours

On Friday, 3 lakh 37 thousand 704 new corona infected were found in the country. During this 2.42 lakh people were cured, while 482 people have died. At the same time, there has been a decrease of 9,550 in new infected compared to the previous day. On Thursday, 3.47 lakh people were found infected and 703 people died.

At present there are 21.13 lakh active cases in the country. In the third wave, the total active case figure has crossed 21 lakh for the first time. The total active cases touched 1 lakh on 31 December and 5 lakh on 8 January. In this context, the total active cases have increased to 21 times in just 22 days.

In the last 24 hours, 45 deaths due to corona infection have been registered in Delhi. This figure is the highest in the third wave in a day. Earlier on June 5, 60 people had lost their lives in a single day. 11,486 new cases have been found here, which is 7% more than the cases found a day earlier.
