Covid 19: 3.33 lakh cases were reported in the last 24 hours, 525 people died

New corona cases have decreased for the third consecutive day in the country. On Saturday, 3 lakh 33 thousand 533 new corona infected were found.

2.59 lakh people have been cured, while 525 people have died. Compared to the previous day, there has been a decrease of about 4 thousand in new infected. On Friday, 3.37 lakh were found infected and 488 people died. A day before this, on Thursday, 3.47 lakh people were found infected and 703 people died.

At present there are 21.87 lakh active cases in the country. The number of active cases on Friday was 21.13 lakh. In the third wave, the total active case figure has crossed 21 lakh for the first time. The total active cases touched the 1 lakh mark on December 31. In this context, the total active cases have increased to 21 times in just 22 days.

The daily positivity rate in the country is 17.78%. At the same time, the weekly positivity rate is 16.87%.p.

In the last 24 hours, 45 deaths due to corona infection have been registered in Delhi. This figure is the highest in the third wave in a day. Earlier on June 5, 60 people had lost their lives in a single day. 11,486 new cases have been found here, which is 7% more than the cases found a day earlier.
