2,323 new corona infected found in the last 24 hours

On Saturday, an increase in new cases and deaths of corona cases in India has been registered in the country. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry this morning, 2,323 new cases have been registered in the country and 25 infected have died in the last 24 hours. After this, the death toll due to the pandemic has gone up to 5,24,348 in the country so far. 

According to the report released by the ministry, there has also been an increase in the number of patients recovering after beating Corona. In the last 24 hours, 2346 people have been cured of corona infection. At the same time, a total of 4,99,382 corona tests were done during this period.

With the decrease in new cases of corona infection, the number of infected people recovering has also started increasing. Due to this the figures of active cases in the country are continuously decreasing. At present, there are a total of 14,996 active cases of corona infection in the country. This is 0.03 percent of the total positive cases in the country.

So far, a total of 4,25,94,801 people have been cured of the deadly corona infection. The recovery rate in India is 98.75 percent. The daily positivity rate in India has also come down to 0.47 percent while the weekly positivity rate is 0.51 percent. The figure of corona testing of samples done so far in the country is 84.63 crores. Till Saturday morning, a total of 192.12 crore Kovid vaccinations have been done in the country for which 2,41,62,678 sessions were conducted. At the same time, 3.26 crore adolescents have received the first dose of corona vaccine.
