22.62 percent polling till 11 am in Uttar Pradesh

According to the report received from the State Election Office, an average of 22.62 percent polling was recorded till 11 am. In Pilibhit, 27.44 percent, Lakhimpur Kheri 26.28, Sitapur 22.13, Hardoi 20.13, Unnao 21.36, Lucknow 21.41, Rae Bareilly 21.42, Banda 23.92 and Fatehpur 22.52 percent voting was done during this period.

According to the information received from the State Election Officer's office, the polling is going on peacefully. However, the Samajwadi Party has demanded action from the Election Commission alleging rigging of polling in Lucknow, Unnao, Hardoi and Sitapur.

The party has alleged in separate tweets that polling personnel at booth numbers 283, 284 and 232 of Bisalpur Vidhan Sabha of Pilibhit district are pressurizing voters to vote for the BJP. The party claimed that apart from this, the administration is helping in getting votes in favor of BJP at booth number 402 of Biswan assembly seat of Sitapur.
