21 IAS officers transferred; Changed DM of 9 districts including Lucknow and Kanpur

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has made a major administrative reshuffle on Tuesday evening. On Tuesday, the government transferred 20 IAS officers, while one officer has been given additional charge. 

IAS officers have been transferred on a large scale in Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow DM Abhishek Prakash, who has been promoted to the post of secretary, and Shruti Singh, DM of Etawah, have been posted as secretaries in the government. Abhishek Prakash has been made Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development and Shruti Singh as Secretary Medical Education along with Director General of the department. Aligarh DM Selva Kumari J., who has been promoted to the post of secretary. Now Bareilly will be the commissioner of the division.

Shakuntala Gautam, who was Director Local Bodies, has been made Labor Commissioner. She has also been promoted to the post of Secretary. Bareilly divisional commissioner R. Ramesh Kumar will now take over the responsibility of the principal secretary silk department. Anamika Singh, who was posted as State Project Director and Director Mid Day Meal Authority along with Secretary Basic Education, has been sent to the post of Secretary Women Welfare and Child Development and Nutrition.
