2 more new cases of Omicron in Delhi, 10 people infected so far
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that two new cases of Omicron were reported in the national capital on Thursday, due to which the number of infected with this variant of corona here has increased to 10.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that two new cases of Omicron were reported in the national capital on Thursday, due to which the number of infected with this variant of corona here has increased to 10. Health Minister Satyendar Jain said- Delhi now has 10 cases of the Omicron variant, one in 10 has been discharged after recovery and nine are still admitted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital. None of them are in critical condition.
A total of 40 patients with Omicron-like symptoms are currently admitted in LNJP. Jain said that 38 out of 40 are Kovid positive and two are suspected, eight more suspected patients were admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning. LNJP Hospital is dedicated to treat Omicron patients. The Health Minister also informed that the number of dedicated beds in the hospital has been increased to 100 as most of the passengers coming from abroad are testing positive for the virus at the airport.
Jain also announced installation of a digital X-ray machine at Sardar Patel Hospital earlier in the day.
