2 dead, 3 injured as car hits truck in Delhi

Two individuals had been killed and 3 others injured withinside the early hours of Saturday once they allegedly rammed their Mercedes vehicle right into a shifting truck in Delhi Cantonment vicinity in southwestern a part of the city, police said.

Officials said they received reports of the incident on the Dhaula Kuan ,Gurugam section around 2:50 a.m.

Vinod Kumar, Krishan Solanki, Nitin, Jitender and Karan Bhardwaj, all residents of the village of Palam southwest of Delhi, were returning home after attending a wedding in Faridabad. The driver died instantly and the other injured are still going under treatment.

A case has been registered at the Delhi Cantonment Police Station and an investigation is ongoing. Teams were deployed and CCTV cameras were checked.
