Here, CBIC and IT team raided the place of two businessmen Ranu Mishra and Vineet Mishra, who are associated with perfume business in Kannauj, adjacent to Kanpur. Action is going on here. For now, what has been recovered from them? No information has been received about this yet. It is being told that both of them also have a connection with Piyush Jain.
The work of carrying the notes from Jain's house to the RBI chest continued till 1 pm on Friday. The cash was stuffed into 42 large boxes and sent to police protection in containers. Many valuable gold ornaments have also been found from Jain's house. These have been transported sealed in boxes. Several documents have also been seized along with a locker. At present, the officers of CBIC and IT are at Piyush Jain's house. The investigation will continue on Saturday as well.
Piyush Jain is originally from Kannauj. After the raid at his house in Kanpur, the CBIC and IT officers had reached the house in Kannauj on Friday evening regarding Piyush's son Pratyush. Here the team got Rs 4 crore in search of only two rooms. Still many rooms of the house are closed.
