168 dreaded criminals killed so far in Yogi government, 4557 reached hospital due to police firing

UP Police's campaign of action against criminals under the policy of zero tolerance is going on. Two miscreants who shot Sub-Inspector Ajay Yadav posted in Varanasi and looted his service pistol have been killed in an encounter under 'Operation Patal Lok'. After the audacious incident in the Prime Minister's parliamentary constituency, Varanasi Commissioner A.Satish Ganesh had formed several teams to track down the miscreants. This action is also repeating the courage of the UP police, which was shown by the police in the encounter with the main accused Vikas Dubey and his other associates after the famous Bikeru incident. A total of 168 notorious criminals have been killed in police encounters since March 20, 2017, under the Yogi government.
Yogi Adityanath had ordered action by running a campaign against corruption and criminals under the policy of zero tolerance only after taking oath as the Chief Minister for the first time. According to ADG law and order Prashant Kumar, 13 policemen have also lost their lives in this ongoing war against criminals. 1375 policemen have been injured due to the firing of miscreants. So far 22234 criminals have been arrested in police encounters. Of these, 4557 were injured due to police firing. So far, maximum 64 criminals have been killed in Meerut district in police encounter.
