12 leopards brought from South Africa reached Kuno in Madhya Pradesh
Seven male and five female cheetahs were kept on the plane in this special box at Hindenburg Park in South Africa. On the evening of Friday, February 17, a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force left from OR Tambo Airport in South Africa. This aircraft reached Gwalior airport at 10 am on Saturday.

Twelve cheetahs brought from South Africa reached Kuno in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Earlier in September last year, eight cheetahs were brought from Namibia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released two of the eight cheetahs brought from Namibia in a special enclosure on the morning of September 17, his birthday. With this, cheetahs started appearing again in the country after 70 years. Seven male and five female cheetahs were kept on the plane in this special box at Hindenburg Park in South Africa. On the evening of Friday, February 17, a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force left from OR Tambo Airport in South Africa. This aircraft reached Gwalior airport at 10 am on Saturday.
After this, 12 cheetahs were taken to Kuno by four helicopters of the army. Here his health test was done. Then around 12 noon they were taken to the enclosures. As soon as the cheetahs were released in Kuno, they first ran fast, then went ahead and stopped and started running again.
