11th student commits suicide because of Sexual Harassment

Hyderabad, February 20 (IANS). A Class XI student ended his life by hanging herself at Telangana Social Welfare Residential College. Police is probing the matter on the basis of two suicide notes found with the student.

A 17-year-old student was found hanging from a noose in a college room in Gaulidodi on Saturday. The students and teachers of the government residential school are in shock due to the death of the student.

Vamsi Krishna, a resident of a village in Nagarkurnool district, was a Class 11 student who returned to the college hostel on January 31 when the college reopened after the third phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
