108th Indian Science Congress begins from today, PM Modi said – increased participation of women in the field of science
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the efforts of science can bear fruit only when they move from the laboratory to the ground. The PM further said that with 2023 being declared as the International Year of Millets, India's millets and their utilization should be further improved by the use of science.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 108th Indian Science Congress today. During this, PM Modi addressed the program through video conferencing. PM Modi said that the role of India's scientific power will be very important in the height at which India will be in the next 25 years. When the determination to serve the country is combined with enthusiasm in science, then the results also come phenomenal.
In the 108th Indian Science Congress, PM Modi said that today India is among the top 3 countries in startups. Till 2015, we were at 81st position in the Global Innovation Index of 130 countries, but in 2022 we have reached 40th position. PM Modi said that I am confident that the scientific community of India will help India achieve the status it always deserves in the 21st century.
PM Modi said that in today's India of the 21st century, we have two things. One is data and the other is technology. Both of them have the power to take India's science to new heights. The field of data analysis is growing at a rapid pace. The scientific approach with which today's India is moving forward, we are also seeing its results. India is fast becoming one of the top countries in the world in the field of science.
