Delhi Election Voting LIVE: Voting for 70-member House of Delhi assembly elections ended with a 57.70% turnout recorded till 5 PM. The Election Commission of India will announce the final voter turnout shortly. Meanwhile, the exit poll predictions indicate a possibility of BJP having an edge over the ruling AAP in the assembly elections of 2025. If so, 27 years after, the saffron party may return to the national capital.
Delhi assembly elections polling was held in one single day in 13,766 polling stations in the national capital, where AAP-Congress-BJP are engaged in a bitter triangular contest.

Around 1.56 crore citizens are eligible to vote in the city, including 8.376 million men and 7.236 million women, along with 1,267 from the third gender.
More than 30,000 police personnel and 220 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed across Delhi to ensure a free and fair voting process.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has been booked over his remarks alleging that the Haryana government had "poisoned" the Yamuna water.
Arvind Kejriwal is going to fight against BJP's Parvesh Varma and Congress's Sandeep Dikshit in a high-profile battle. The Kalkaji constituency also features a battle amongst heavyweights Delhi CM Atishi, Congress's Alka Lamba, and BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri.
The Election Commission of India has launched a Queue Management System (QMS) app through which the voters will be able to check the crowd level on real time. Special arrangements have been made for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
The ECI has issued a notification prohibiting the conduct, publication and circulation of exit polls from 7 am till 6.30 pm on February 5.
