Government will soon provide cashless treatment facility up to five lakhs to the unorganized workers : Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Social Insurance Agency will provide the facility for cashless treatment to registered workers through the State Agency for Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services (Sanchij). The Department of Labor included it in its 100 Day Action Plan.
The Yogi Adityanath government of the state, standing with crores of laborers and workers in the difficult times of Corona transition period, is now going to give them another big facility. The government will provide cashless treatment of five lakh rupees to crores of registered laborers of the unorganized sector in the state under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. The Labor Department has included it in its 100-day action plan.
The previous Yogi Adityanath government had decided to start Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojna to provide cashless treatment facility up to Rs. A mandate in this regard was issued by the Labor Department on October 20 last year. There are 79 lakh workers registered on the portal of Uttar Pradesh State Social Security Board.
The Uttar Pradesh Social Security Board will provide the facility of cashless treatment to the registered workers through the State Agency Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services (Sanchij). A contract has been signed with Sanchez for this. The Board will pay the premium to Sanchis at the rate of Rs 1,102 per worker as premium.
The government has fixed the state-wise rates of wages of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) workers for the year 2022-23. In Uttar Pradesh, the wages of MNREGA workers have been increased by nine rupees in the current financial year. Workers working under MNREGA will now get Rs 213 as wages. Till now he used to get Rs 204. There are 1.36 crore job card holders of MNREGA in Uttar Pradesh.
