Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan are going to be hit by a heatwave for the next 4 days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released the weather condition till 27 April on Saturday. While there will be rain in the Northeast during the next 24 hours, there will be heatwave conditions over Gujarat. On the contrary, thunderstorm conditions will continue over Vidarbha and West Bengal. There is a possibility of hailstorms in South Madhya Maharashtra also.
There is a possibility of heatwave conditions in Gujarat during the next 4 days. According to IMD, there is a possibility of a heatwave in South Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal till April 25-27. A similar situation will remain in Rajasthan, South Haryana, and Vidarbha as well.
Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-50 kmph) are very likely to prevail over West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, and Meghalaya during the next 4 days. Whereas, similar conditions will remain in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Scattered rain and lightning are likely over the Western Himalayan region.
