Wearing hijab is a must and it is an obligation in Islam : Zaira Wasim

Rhetoric and reactions are coming out all over the country regarding the hijab. Many Bollywood celebs have also given their side in this matter. A new name has been added to this list of Dangal fame Zaira Wasim. She spoke about the hijab on her social media post. Zaira wrote that wearing the hijab is a must and it is an obligation in Islam.

Zaira wrote on her post, "There is a perception that hijab is a choice, this is wrong information. Such an assumption has been made out of convenience or ignorance. Hijab in Islam is not a choice but an obligation. In this way, when a woman wears a hijab, she is fulfilling that God-given obligation. whom she loves and has devoted her life to.

Zaira started her career in Bollywood with Aamir Khan starrer Dangal. In this film, she played the character of wrestler Geeta Phogat. Later she appeared in Secret Superstar and The Sky Is Pink. Zaira had decided to quit Bollywood by sharing a social media post after Priyanka Chopra starrer The Sky is Pink.
