VK Paul says, celebrate festivals at home, get vaccinated against Covid
India has reported less than 20,000 Covid-19 cases for the third straight day, recording new cases in the last 24 hours.
As the COVID situation in the country is improving, the NITI Aayog Member Dr. V K Paul said that safe festivities this year will be a determining factor in the fight against the pandemic. He also said, Closer the group of people, more chances are there to spread the virus.
Talking about the Covid during the upcoming festivals, he said we are dealing with the delta variant which is transmissible. A situation that leads to groups and gatherings is not good for us as we give a chance for the virus to engulf us again. While going out we still have to maintain social distance. We must wear a mask to prevent infection.
