'The Kashmir Files' has earned around Rs 250 crore at the box office. The film, directed by Agnihotri, released in theaters on March 11 and is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990.
Asked about donating the proceeds from the film to Kashmiri Pandits, Vivek Agnihotri said that he has been helping the community for the past few years, but he never publicized it.Pallavi Joshi, who was involved in this interview said that she feels very awkward when people ask about what are they gonna do with film's earnings.
"It's a very strange question because there are already 4 producers in the film. Who gets how much, this is a very complicated mathematicians Also, whenever a producer earns money from a film, they obviously put it in an upcoming project.
