Viral video: Pakistani TikToker Minahil Malik is back in the news after her latest dance video hit social media headlines following the leakage controversy about MMS.
The video featured Malik dancing to Mamushi by Megan Thee Stallion.
Minahil Malik captioned her Instagram reel as "Because its trending" which has already bagged 69,000+ likes. Minahil's latest post comes after she was at the centre of a big controversy over MMS leak.
It was claimed that the MMS contained intimate moments between Minahil and her boyfriend, thereby triggering heaps of speculation and discussion on the internet.

While some believed it to be true, a lot believed it to be a forgery. Some even believed it to be staged for publicity. “These videos are completely fake. I have already filed a complaint with the FIA against the person responsible, and they will be arrested soon,” she had said in a video statement.
Pakistani actress Mishi Khan, however, claimed that Manahil had released the video herself. She claimed Manahil was inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bollywood movie 'Heroine' where the lead character in the film leaks her own explicit video to get attention for her upcoming movie.
In a scathing Instagram post, Mishi Khan did not mention the name of Manahil Malik but slammed the TikToker for going down to the lowest level for fame. In the caption of her post, Mishi wrote: “Shameful to see these influencers stooping to the lowest level for fame & disgracing their families, parents & the society. They should be banned from using social media.”

Mishi told the TikTokers to focus on the thought of their families and surroundings. “People look up to you, so stop promoting this. Our society is already suffering from moral decay. Promote good deeds and engage in positive actions.”
Critics claim that laws on digital privacy and personal rights must be changed in Pakistan so that the victims can be protected, as the extant ones lag far behind the digital age, are unable to ensure proper protection to those whose rights are violated. The number of such events has led to demands for stricter laws against persons who disseminate or manipulate private content without the consent of the concerned persons, the psychological and social impact on the victims.
As Minhail Malik deals with her so-called MMS leak, Rida Isfahani's own experience defines a pattern of privacy violations that the entertainment industry and digital influencers in Pakistan have been under pressure for. It has brought up all the chit-chat about trust, exploitation and the long term effects on the victims.
