A video has been doing the rounds on Social Media where in an alert RPF personnel's timely action saved the life of a man. The man was actually getting dragged under a moving train at the Patiala Station. This incident took place on Sunday, when a passenger tried to rush inside the coach of a train which had already alighted.
As the man tried to embark on the moving train, he slipped his feet and fell inside the tiny gap between the platform and the train. Seeing the passenger being dragged, Head Const. Raghubeer Singh ran along the train on the platform, and he was able to pull off the anticipated rescue. However, the man was dragged for a considerable distance and was lucky to land on the platform.
The entire incident was captured in a CCTV footage, and somehow the entire clip made its way across Social Media, which later went viral. The entire nation applauded the efforts of the brave constable and hailed his efforts. We need more people like him, a user wrote on Twitter. Viral Bhayani wrote on his Twitter, "Some may be lucky to have our brave ones to save them. #SafetyFirst #RPF Head Const.Raghubeer Singh ran without hesitation as he saw a person being dragged by train, saved him from jaws of death at Patiala Station.”
