Vikas Kumar appointed as DMRC's new MD

Congratulating Vikas Kumar, Kailash Gehlot expressed hope that under the leadership of the new MD of DMRC, Delhi Metro will do better work.
Vikas Kumar is presently Director (Operations) in Delhi Metro. The post of Managing Director of Metro is falling vacant on March 31. Earlier, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal had recently approved Vikas Kumar's name for the post of Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
The selection committee for the selection of the new Managing Director (MD) of Delhi Metro completed the two-day long interview process on March 15. A total of 25 applicants for the post were interviewed by a committee constituted by the Delhi government. After that the Delhi government had sent the file to the Lieutenant Governor for approval. The Delhi government had constituted a selection committee on March 2 this month for the appointment of the MD of Delhi Metro.
