Vande Bharat Express: Vande Bharat Express back on track after the accident
The front part of the engine of the train got damaged after it collided with some buffaloes on the track at around 11.15 am. The incident took place between Vatva and Maninagar areas of Ahmedabad.
The Vande Bharat Express, which runs from Mumbai Central and to Gandhinagar in Gujarat, was damaged after colliding with cattle on Thursday morning. However, this train has been rectified within a day at the Coaching Care Center. In this collision only part of the front of the train was damaged. In this regard, Western Railway CPRO said that the damaged portion at Mumbai Central Depot has been replaced. The train has been brought back on track without any additional downtime. We are taking all steps to prevent such incidents in future.
The picture of the Vande Bharat Express had gone viral soon after the accident at around 11.15 am on Thursday. People are commenting in different ways. Let us tell you that due to the arrival of 3-4 buffaloes on the railway line, the front part of the engine was damaged. The train left for Gandhinagar after removing the dead bodies within eight minutes and reached its scheduled time.
Western Railway spokesperson Jitendra Kumar Jayant said Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital stations had left Mumbai in the morning.
