Uttarakhand: BJP leader's wife dies in shootout, murder case registered against UP Police

A murder case has been registered against the UP Police in Uttarakhand. UP Police has been accused of killing the wife of a BJP leader. Moradabad police had gone to raid Jaspur in Uttarakhand late on Wednesday night. When the villagers surrounded the police, there was firing from both sides. The wife of Jaspur's BJP leader Gurtaj was killed in the firing.

It is alleged that the woman died due to police firing. 2 Moradabad Police personnel have been hit by bullets. There is also information about taking many people of the police team hostage.
