Uttar Pradesh News : Big accident happened in Barabanki, 4 killed in bus; 10 injured

Four people were killed when a truck rammed a bus parked on the roadside in Ramnagar area of ​​Barabanki district in the early hours of Saturday. 10 others were seriously injured. An official gave this information.

Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Purnendu Singh said that the tire of a double-decker bus full of laborers going from Nepal to Goa was punctured at around 3.30 am in Mahungupur village of Ramnagar police station area, which is being stopped by the roadside and repaired. It was then that a speeding truck coming from behind hit the bus. Most of the passengers were asleep at the time of the accident. He said that 14 people were injured in the incident. They were admitted to the hospital, where four of them died during treatment.

Two of the injured have been referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre. Rest 8 are being treated at a local hospital. Additional Superintendent of Police said that the dead included Prem Tharu, Sheetal Tharu, Chakra Bahadur Bali and an unidentified person. Singh said that there were about 60 people in the bus. Arrangements are being made to send the rest to Nepal. Now the traffic system is normal at the spot. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

The accident took place at around 3.30 am on Saturday morning near Mahangupur village of Ramnagar police station area in Barabanki, where a speeding truck hit a double-decker bus from behind. The driver of the bus started changing the tire of the bus on the side of the road. Then a speeding truck coming from behind hit the bus hard. All the passengers on the bus are residents of Nepal and they were going to Goa. At the same time, as soon as the information about the accident was received, the police of Ramnagar police station reached the spot and took everyone to the hospital.
