US Embassy Warns Against Illegal Migration After Deporting Indians: A United States military plane began deporting Indian migrants, implementing President Donald Trump’s position against an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the country.
Reuters reported that the C-17 aircraft carrying 205 Indian nationals departed from San Antonio, Texas, around 3 am IST.
The spokesperson emphasized that the actions taken send a "clear message that illegal migration is not worth the risk."
"I have received a number of inquiries on the report of a deportation flight to India. I can't share any details on those inquiries, but I can share, on the record, that the United States is vigorously enforcing its border, tightening immigration laws, and removing illegal migrants. These actions send a clear message: illegal migration is not worth the risk," a US Embassy spokesperson said.
Trump has wasted no time in implementing his strict immigration policies, signing multiple executive orders to reinforce border security and deportation procedures. His administration’s tough stance aligns with his campaign promises to curb illegal immigration and strengthen national security.

The Pentagon said over 5,000 migrants from El Paso, Texas, and San Diego, California will be deported. So far, military aircraft have flown migrants to Guatemala, Peru, and Honduras.

This large-scale deportation underscores the U.S. government’s firm stance on border enforcement and is expected to impact thousands of Indian nationals residing illegally in the country.
Bloomberg News reported that India and the US have identified 18,000 Indian migrants who are in the US illegally.
“Illegal immigration is often linked to other unlawful activities. It is neither desirable nor beneficial for our reputation. If any of our citizens are found to be in the US illegally, and we verify their citizenship, we are open to their lawful return to India,” Jaishankar said.
Trump, who spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had also said that Modi told him that he would do what is right — indicating that India is ready to take back the illegal immigrants from the US.
