The Congress has also raised questions on the canceled examinations and paper leaks during the tenure of the Yogi government. Congress's UP spokesperson Anshu Awasthi said that the promise was to become number one by giving 70 lakh jobs, but made it number one in piper leaks.
During the tenure of the Yogi government for four and a half years, the question papers of more than half a dozen examinations were leaked. In these, there is an allegation of leaking from Inspector Recruitment to SSC Papers. The Yogi government came in March 2017 and the first question paper was leaked four months later.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board conducted the Online Inspector Recruitment Test (CBT) on 25th and 26th July 2017 but it was postponed before that. The reason was the paper leak on WhatsApp. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had decided to conduct online examination in 2017 on 3307 vacant posts for direct recruitment to the post of Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Police. The online examination was started from July 13, which is to be held till July 31.
