UP DElEd Admission 2024: Registration begins tomorrow at updeled.gov.in, important points to remember before applying

UP DElEd Admission 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority will start the application process for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) in Uttar Pradesh from tomorrow, September 18.

Eligible candidates can register for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) entrance exam 2024 by visiting the official website of UP DElEd i.e. updeled.gov.in.

The last date to register for the UP DElEd 2024 exam is October 9, 2024, and the last date to pay the application fees is October 10. Candidates are required to take a printout of their registration forms by October 12.

This year, there are 2,33,350 DElEd seats in Uttar Pradesh and counselling will take place for 2,33,350 DElEd seats.

Candidates are required to pass class 12 with at least a 50% grade from a recognized board. Meanwhile, candidates under the SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang categories are required to pass with at least 45% marks in class 12.

Important points to remember before applying

• After the deadline has been crossed there will be no window open to edit the application form so candidates are advised to fill the form carefully.
• Your registration process will be fully completed only after the payment of the application fee.
• Interested candidates are advised to read the guidelines thoroughly which are posted on the official website of the UP DElEd before registering themselves for the exam.
• Candidates who belong from outside Uttar Pradesh will be classified as unreserved despite being under reserved categories in their states.

As per the official reports, the first round of online counselling for the registered aspirants will take place from October 17 to October 30, and the admissions procedure will be over by November 13.

The second round of online counselling will begin from November 20 to December 10 and the admission process will be over by 10.

General category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 700 while the SC and ST candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 500 and the PwD category candidates have to pay a sum of Rs 200.
