UP Assembly Elections: Akhilesh Yadav to file nomination from Karhal

The Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls are to be held shortly and all the prominent leaders from various Political Parties are undergoing the process of filing their nomination. The Samajwadi Chief and the former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will be contesting from Karhal Assembly Seat of Manipuri. Mr Yadav will reach the Collectorate Office on Monday, i.e. tomorrow and file his nomination papers.

Rajendra Chaudhary, the spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party said that, "There will be a one way election in Karhal Assembly and Akhilesh Yadav will win elections with huge votes margin." This will be the first time Mr Yadav will be contesting elections from the Karhal Assembly Seat.

Voting in Manipuri will take place in the third phase of the election. Polling in Uttar Pradesh will take place in seven phases in the month of February. Till now, only in the year 2002 has the Samajwadi Party suffered defeat from the Assembly Seat of Karhal.
