Union Minister of State Darshana Vikram Jardosh will inaugurate Vaidehi exhibition of eight-day festival

Union Minister of State for Textiles and Railways Smt. Darshana Vikram Jardosh will inaugurate “Vaidehi: Sita Beyond the Body” organized at the National Crafts Museum in the capital. This information has been given by National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy (NCMHA). 

From 30th July, 2022 CSTS in association with Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) and National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy (NCMHA) is going to organize International Exhibition in the premises of NCMHA. The exhibition will run till August 7, 2022. More than one and a half hundred Mithila paintings on display in the International Exhibition are not only colorful representations, but also the emotional and intellectual journey of the artists. About one hundred and thirty artists from villages and cities of India to abroad are participating in this exhibition.

This is our third season of Vaidehi: Sita Beyond the Body exhibition. Earlier also CSTS, in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) has organized exhibition and workshop at IGNCA auditorium at Janpath, in which people from the country and abroad actively participated. This international exhibition is made up of display of Mithila/Madhubani paintings by national and cross-border artists.
