Ukraine Crisis: Russia is attacking Ukraine vigorously

Russian rocket attacks continue to hit Ukraine's western city of Lviv, a sign that Russia is attacking other parts of the country as well, despite its claims of targeting only the eastern part of the country. Incessant airstrikes have stunned the city. At least 200,000 people from nearby areas have taken refuge in the city, which is still considered safe.

Lviv has not been attacked since the start of the Russian offensive on Ukraine, last week after a missile hit an aircraft correctional center near the main airport. Regional governor Maxim Kozitsky said on Facebook that the first attack involved two Russian rockets that hit an industrial area in Lviv's northeast, injuring four people. Black smoke continued to rise from the spot for several hours.

Kozitsky said an oil plant and an army-linked factory were attacked on Saturday, though he did not give details of the attack. People live in both these places. He said a man was detained on Saturday on suspicion of espionage from one of the blast sites. He is arrested for recording the entire incident of a rocket going towards the target and attacking.
